| Bob Rosen is the former owner
of six graphic arts companies whose career began on Wall Street,
where he was an investment banker.
Educated at Harvard College and NYU Graduate
School of Business Administration, in 1976 he began the process
of acquiring his graphic arts companies – operating
them for ten years before selling them in 1986.
Bob
tried retirement and hated it, so he formed Rosen Associates
in 1987 to meet the graphic arts industry’s need for
consulting services on top management issues. The firm’s
concept has been validated over its twenty years of operations
– during which it has provided advisory services to
the senior managers of more than 550 graphic arts companies.
Bob
is a frequent speaker on printing management topics throughout
North America, has served as a faculty member of all of the
industry’s executive development programs, and originated
the industry’s only CEO Course and Financial Management
Course.
Bob
is the author of the groundbreaking book for industry CEOs
– The Graphic Arts
CEO – and writes the CEO column for WhatTheyThink.com.
He’s also a regular contributor to American Printer
magazine, providing reviews of industry trends and continuing
commentary on managerial issues.
Bob’s articles have appeared in virtually
every industry publication. He has long been the industry’s
most widely published and quoted authority on mergers, presenting
seminars throughout North America on merger-related topics.
Long active in industry affairs, Bob served
as President of New Jersey’s Association for the Graphic
Arts, as a Director of Printing Industry of Metropolitan New
York, as a member of PIA’s National Manufacturing Management
Committee, and as an advisor to PIA’s Financial Executives
Group ("PIFE").
Bob is involved in all of Rosen Associates’
activities, bringing a combination of analytical skills and
industry knowledge to client projects – ensuring that
key issues are addressed insightfully and effectively. |
