of projects, but we limit our assignments to situations where
we can add real value. Although we understand the technical
nuts-and-bolts of the industry, we generally don’t undertake
assignments that focus narrowly on technical issues.
We see our advisory role more broadly –
helping top management to address the most crucial and fundamental
issues they might be facing (Success
Stories) in improving competitiveness, building profitability
and increasing their companies’ value.
We’ve learned to take a flexible approach, and we design
each assignment around its own combination of services.
Before beginning assignments, we often review
a variety of background information, and always take special
care to discuss things fully with prospective clients –
to ensure we understand the issues from their point
of view. Of course, there’s no fee for any initial evaluation
and managerial discussions, and we treat everything as entirely
confidential.
